Workout & Macro Tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch
Need help? Email drewpitzner@gmail.com — a real person reads every message, usually replying within a day. Including your iOS version and what you were doing when it happened makes it much faster to fix.
Free forever, with no time limit: unlimited workout logging, the full exercise library and muscle maps, Apple Watch, every past session with your all-time records intact, food and calorie logging including on-device barcode and nutrition-label scanning, all social features, and one generated program. Analytics charts cover the most recent 90 days.
Premium adds: unlimited program generation, analytics across your full history, the diet coach (adaptive expenditure, weekly check-ins, goal-weight pacing, full macro targets), body metrics and progress photos, and the AI meal photo scanner.
Atlas Premium is $12.99/month or $69.99/year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan. Your training history is never locked behind the paywall.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by Atlas. On your iPhone open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, choose Atlas, and cancel or change plan there. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends prevents the next renewal. You keep access until the current period expires, then drop to the free tier — your logs stay yours.
Yes. Export a CSV from your old app, then in Atlas go to Settings → Data → Import from file and choose it. Atlas recognises the Hevy, Strong and FitNotes formats, handles kilograms and pounds correctly, and imports additively — running it twice won't duplicate anything.
Atlas syncs through your private iCloud. Check that both devices are signed into the same Apple Account and that Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Drive is on. Sync needs a network connection and can take a moment after a workout finishes. If a device has been offline, opening Atlas and leaving it in the foreground for a minute usually resolves it.
Open Atlas on your iPhone first so it can push the plan to the watch, and make sure both are nearby and paired. If the watch still shows nothing, force-quit the watch app and reopen it — it re-requests the plan on launch. Workouts logged on either device merge into one shared session.
Photo scanning is optional and asks your permission first. When you use it, the photo is sent to our server and on to Anthropic's API for analysis. Atlas stores no image bytes, photos are never used to train a model, and they're never linked to your training data or sold. You can revoke permission any time in Settings → Privacy → AI meal photo analysis.
Barcode scanning and nutrition-label reading run entirely on your device and send nothing anywhere.
Export everything as JSON from Settings → Data — free for everyone, no subscription required. To delete your account and server record, use Settings → Account → Delete account, which also revokes the Sign in with Apple token.
Nobody, unless you turn on social features — they're off by default. When enabled, only workouts, PRs and best lifts are shared with friends you've accepted. Your bodyweight, measurements, progress photos and all diet data are never shared under any setting.
